Through its work in these countries, our firm has gained a deep understanding of issues facing small island states such as: a small pool of skilled workers; high levels of brain drain; small, undiversified economies; significant barriers to trade; governance issues associated with ethnic and linguistic diversity; and high levels of environmental vulnerability.
